Most financial advice assumes you have a salary. You don't. You have a project that ends, a gap you can't predict, and a benefits package that lives inside a union office instead of an HR portal.
I'm Sam Javanmard, a CFP® professional who works almost exclusively with entertainment professionals across the U.S., including union crew members, producers, studio employees, actors, creators, and professionals with loan-out companies.
The stuff generic advisors get wrong is the stuff I work on every day:
Every production starts with a storyboard before anyone rolls camera. I plan the same way: map the whole arc first, in phases, with contingencies for the scenes that don't go as written. No jargon. No product pitch. No pretending your career works like a dentist's.
If you're looking for someone to pick hot stocks or promise to beat the market, I'm genuinely not your guy, and I'd rather tell you that here than waste your twenty minutes.
If you want a plan that assumes the work is unpredictable and builds around it, we should talk.
No pitch. You'll leave with at least one thing you can use, whether or not we ever work together.

Totally fine. Email me at: samj@fpfmgmt.com with whatever's on your mind, or just say "send me the IAP guide." I read and answer everything myself.
